Fathom Core Value Stories: December 2013 Edition

Every month at company meetings, a handful of Fathomers are recognized in front of the group for extraordinary manifestations of our four core values (“everyone a leader,” “be the consigliere,” “make order from chaos,” “the gun will be there”). This space immortalizes their accomplishments for the world to see. I hereby present the 21st edition of Core Value Stories:

  • Francesca_LuppinoEveryone a Leader, Francesca Luppino (pictured, right) — For showing remarkable leadership within the education group. She organized and maintains a very active industry blog schedule and helps members with generating topics, editing content and posting. She has also been a key player in understanding our clients’ goals and on more than one occasion, very detail-oriented customers have described her recommendations as “very clear” and “spot-on.”
  • Be the Consigliere, Cody Blair – For establishing himself as a reliable advisor to clients as well as retail team members. Most recently, he helped restructure and optimize an SEM account that after applying his strategy saw a revenue increase of nearly 95% year-over-year for Q4 to date.
  • Make Order from Chaos, Kal Fattah & Haley Hite  — For updating Fathom’s content master plan document to increase efficiency for the team, further our knowledge of each client, and combine more of what the search-engine marketing specialists and writers do into one easy document. The keyword nomination process and content map for the entire year is now part of one plan. This “Dream Team” worked hard to get this done before the end of the year, heralding big things for clients in 2014.
  • The Gun Will Be There, Matt Thompson — For being an instrumental player in the updating and revising of one client’s various website properties. In addition to managing the building and subsequent editing of 30 microsites, Matt also worked diligently through countless edits to the Web pages and email templates, many of which came on scanned hand-written screenshots. Additionally, he devised hands-on technical training sessions for the client on WordPress and intranet usage. Throughout it all, Matt never once complained or missed a single deadline.

To the victors go the spoils … huzzah!
